According to The Hollywood Reporter, X — previously known as Twitter — is ramping up its content and has signed several new media deals.
Don Lemon, a former anchor at CNN, Tulsi Gabbard, a former American congresswoman, and Jim Rome, a former host at Fox Sports and current sports radio personality, are among those who announced agreements today.
Each used X to announce their new opportunities.
It is noteworthy that two of the three mentioned “freedom of speech” as one of the reasons they are excited to work with X. This is a major talking point often cited, but not always practised, by X’s owner, Elon Musk.
Rome is a client of Range Media Partners, which also announced a partnership with X today. This partnership will include “at least 10 shows, across various genres and formats,” according to the story in The Hollywood Reporter.
