Both models were developed using a new Honda electrification design and engineering approach.

“We have gone back to basics and formulated the Honda 0 series with a design for the new era,” said Shinji Aoyama, Global EVP of Honda. “A bold and pure proportion that from the first glance is overwhelmingly different from other EVs to evoke a new perspective for people.”

The Honda 0 vehicles will showcase advanced driver-assistive systems, automated driving features, connected technologies, enhanced aerodynamics, and improved battery efficiency.

The Saloon

The Saloon, the flagship of the 0 series, has a dedicated EV platform and is based on Honda’s “M/M” (man maximum/machine minimum) concept, featuring a low and wide exterior and spacious interior.

Constructed with sustainable materials and innovative features such as steer-by-wire and motion control systems, the Saloon’s instrument panel showcases a human-machine interface (HMI) designed to facilitate straightforward and intuitive operations.

A production vehicle based on the Saloon concept is expected to come to the North American market in 2026.

The Space-Hub

The Space-Hub focuses on augmenting daily lives with a spacious cabin and flexibility based on the “Thin, Light, and Wise” development approach. Honda describes the Space-Hub as “a flexible space that immediately accommodates a variety of passengers and becomes a ‘hub’ that connects people to each other and the outside world.”

New Honda ‘H Mark’ Logo

The current Honda “H mark” logo dates back to 1981, and as such, Honda designed a new H mark specifically to express the company’s determination and dedication to electric vehicles, including the Honda 0 series.

“The mobility we dream of is not an extension of the trend of ‘thick, heavy, but smart’ EVs,” said Toshihiro Mibe, Global CEO of Honda. “We will create a completely new value from zero based on thin, light and wise as the foundation for our new Honda 0 EV series to further advance the joy and freedom of mobility to the next level.”
