The Verge and Engadget review their heads-on experiences testing out Apple’s Vision Pro

American tech news behemoths The Verge and Engadget got early demos of Apple’s forthcoming spatial computing headset, the Vision Pro, and have posted their initial reactions.

Apple Vision Pro will be available beginning Friday, February 2, at all U.S. Apple Store locations and the U.S. Apple Store online.

First revealed during its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) last June, Apple’s Vision Pro is a spatial computer and headset that blends digital content with the physical world.

I feel that the biggest detractor on day one will be the state of the virtual keyboard. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently mentioned his dissatisfaction with it and Engadget’s Cherlynn Low and Dana Wollman echo this in their review as did The Verge’s Victoria Song.

Pre-orders for Apple Vision Pro begin Friday, January 19, at 5 a.m. PST.Apple Vision Pro starts at $3,499 USD ($4,674.85 CAD at the time of publication) with 256GB of storage.
