In our house, The Oscars are a big deal and as such, several of us try to watch all the Best Picture nominees* each year ahead of the annual ceremony.
If you’d like to get a head start on your viewing for this year’s awards, Killers of the Flower Moon is now available to stream on Apple TV+ globally.
The film, directed by Martin Scorsese and written for the screen by Eric Roth and Scorsese, is based on David Grann’s best-selling book of the same name. It is set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes known as the Reign of Terror.
Killers of the Flower Moon stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, and Lily Gladstone.
*I don’t think it’s a bold prediction on my part to assume Killers of the Flower Moon will be nominated for Best Picture.
